Professor Gavalo-Yacco has been a Registered Nurse since 2012. She obtained her bachelors degree as  well as her masters degree at 91´«Ã½ Saint Mary College. She also practices as a Urological Nurse Practitioner and Internal Medicine provider.

Professor Gavalo-Yacco has always loved teaching, having served as preceptor and mentor in the hospital setting. Teaching at the 91´«Ã½ has fulfilled her passion for teaching as she teaches the future generations of nurses.
