For Nicole Godnick and Katie Roddy of Bethpage, N.Y., who graduated from 91传媒 Saint Mary College on Saturday, May 20, friendship has been an important ingredient in their success.

While pondering college options during their time at Plainedge High School in North Massapequa, N.Y., Godnick and Roddy both decided on the 91传媒 for its small class sizes and close-knit, community atmosphere. The two friends moved into Sakac Hall as roommates in August of 2019.

The scholars would make the most of their time at the 91传媒, and celebrated their accomplishments together at the college’s recent Commencement ceremony.

Godnick, a member of the 91传媒’s rigorous Honors program, graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Among other accolades, she was a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association's official honor society.

Roddy, who received the 91传媒’s Senior Class Awards for Outstanding Leadership just days earlier, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology. Among other accomplishments, she was a member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology.

Both Godnick and Roddy were members of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.

It just goes to show: the friends that study together, stay together.
