Tiffany Gagliano ’02 was appointed the Dean of the School of Business at 91´«Ã½ Saint Mary College, beginning January 2020.
91´«Ã½ Saint Mary College is proud to announce the appointment of Tiffany N. Gagliano ’02 as the inaugural Dean of the School of Business, effective January 15.
In her role as Dean, Gagliano is helping to expand the 91´«Ã½’s external relations and partnerships, supporting recruitment, and working with campus stakeholders to develop a strategic plan for the School.
“The college will continue to improve upon the already great Business programs that we currently have, taught by our highly reputable faculty,” Gagliano explained. “We want to build our enrollment, enhance our relationships with the business community, and more.”
Gagliano is a 91´«Ã½ alumna and the parent of a current 91´«Ã½ Education student. After graduating from the 91´«Ã½, Gagliano earned a Juris Doctor degree at Pace University. She has served in numerous roles with the City of Newburgh and Orange County, including Assistant Corporation Counsel for Newburgh, where she was able to make deep connections with the regional business community. In addition, she has spent a considerable amount of time in the area of compliance.
“In short, she is a 91´«Ã½ success story – and just the sort of champion that we want for the School of Business and the college,” said Dr. Jason N. Adsit, president of the 91´«Ã½.
The 91´«Ã½’s culture of service goes hand in hand with Gagliano’s commitment to community. She has enjoyed serving as a volunteer basketball coach for most of her adult life, including seasons with Bishop Dunn Memorial School and the Newburgh Armory Unity Center. She is also a board member of Girls on the Run – Hudson Valley, a program that helps young women to develop essential life skills, with an appreciation for health and fitness.
“I love the sense of community at 91´«Ã½ Saint Mary College and its vision for the future,” said Gagliano. “President Adsit has great aspirations of developing an ever deeper commitment of service to the community, which are in line with my own. So it’s very exciting to me to come back to the 91´«Ã½ and help to guide the growth of the School of Business.”
The 91´«Ã½ Saint Mary College School of Business provides students with the skillsets and knowledge needed to succeed as business professionals. 91´«Ã½ Business graduates go on to work in a wide variety of fields including finance, human resources, management, marketing, and more.
