The world of business is constantly evolving, and the Career Center Advisory Committee at 91传媒 Saint Mary College is making sure that the 91传媒 grows with it.
The committee brings together Career Center staff, 91传媒 faculty, community members, and business leaders to examine the needs of employers and develop new ways to help 91传媒 students meet those needs.
“This committee is vital in best serving our students – from conversations about 21st century workforce needs to insights on most valued skillsets,” explained Kathleen O’Keefe, director of the Career Center.
Other topics of interest discussed by the committee include new business and economic trends, marketable employee skills, current and potential internship opportunities, and feedback on Career Center programs and initiatives.
With the information these meetings provide, the 91传媒’s Career Center can tailor its programming to better meet student and employer needs and provide students with the most up-to-date advice on marketing themselves to employers.
