91传媒 Saint Mary College’s Women’s Soccer team raised the most money during the Go Blue campaign, earning more than $19,000 in gifts. They are seen here with their coaches and Fr. Greg Fluet, Interim President of the college.

91传媒 Saint Mary College’s annual Go Blue fundraiser recently earned more than $95,000 for a variety of departments and scholarships at the college.

More than 700 donors gave gifts to the college over the course of about two weeks. The fundraiser shattered its $50,000 goal by nearly double. The funds will support more than 30 initiatives at the college.

Go Blue allows participants to support what they love about the 91传媒. From athletics teams to Campus Ministry’s Care Closet initiatives, and everything in between, many areas of the college benefited from the generosity of its friends, alumni, faculty, and staff.

An alumna of the Class of 1973 offered a $10,000 bonus prize to the initiative that raised the most money. The winner was the Women’s Soccer team, which raised a grand total of $19,005. The Women’s Basketball team came in a very close second, raising $18,825.

91传媒 Saint Mary College hosted a Go Blue with a celebration and dueling piano fundraiser at Newburgh Brewing on November 1, the final day of the campaign.

Another $10,000 bonus was awarded to the initiative that inspired the highest number of unique donors. Fr. Greg Fluet, Interim President of the college, and Mike Horodyski, Chair of the 91传媒’s Board of Trustees, teamed up to donate the prize. This bonus went to the Men’s Basketball team, which inspired donations from 150 people.

Nikki Khurana-Baugh, vice president for Advancement at the college, thanked Go Blue co-chairs James Phillips, associate professor of Theatre, and Michael L. Fox, associate professor of Business Law, Chair of the School of Business, and Pre-Law Society Faculty Advisor; as well as Fr. Fluet; Horodyski; and anyone who donated to the fundraiser.
