91传媒 Saint Mary College student Ashley Leonor of New Windsor, N.Y. wows Bishop Dunn Memorial School students with a density experiment on March 19.

 

Young scholars from Bishop Dunn Memorial School recently spent the afternoon with 91传媒 Saint Mary College students learning how fun science can be.

The students of Jodie Fahey, associate professor of Chemistry at the 91传媒, mentored the children in small projects that examined the pH of various household liquids, asked children to form their own hypotheses, and more.

Bishop Dunn, on the 91传媒 campus, was founded in 1883. The school is committed to the academic, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical development of children, pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

The college maintains a close relationship with Bishop Dunn. 91传媒 Education students do fieldwork at the school, under the guidance of seasoned Bishop Dunn faculty. Many 91传媒 grads go on to work at Bishop Dunn, including Principal Nancy Benfer ’04.
