91传媒 Saint Mary College welcomed its newest students to campus at the 2022 Convocation ceremony on Thursday, September 1. 

Academic Convocation marks the arrival of the 91传媒’s newest students and mirrors the graduation ceremony that awaits them upon completion of their degrees.

After they processed from the Dominican Center down to Aquinas Hall, hundreds of freshmen and transfer students were recognized for starting their academic journey. They also celebrated the completion of their first week of study at the event. 

Following greetings from President Dr. Jason N. Adsit, along with 91传媒 faculty, students enjoyed a welcome speech by Kaitlyn Corrigan, president of the Student Government Association. Gina Evers, director of the 91传媒’s First Year Experience Program and director of the college’s Writing Center, gave the keynote address.
